THIS
IS A
TWO YEAR CONTEST
It’s
time to start thinking of how your club can improve your
community. From planting gardens, purchasing life-saving
equipment, setting-up or restock a food panty / library, or renovate
& redecorate a room in a shelter the possibilities are endless
on how your club can make your community a better place to
be.
The Community Improvement
Contest is the GFWC’s oldest, continually running
contest. The time span to enter this is from 3/1/10 to
4/30/12. The CIC page (under special Project tab) in the GFWC
Club manual will give you all the pertinent information you will need
to get started, keep you on track and help you tell your ultimate
story. Look for additional tips and info at Conferences
throughout the Administration.
It will be my pleasure to help you achieve success
for your Community Improvement Contest. E-mail Jen Nowak at JWNowak@Charter.net
with any questions you may have. I look forward to Junior
Clubs . . .
